This will allow you to share your files with colleagues and collaborators, just like you do on the web. If you right-click a file or folder in your G: (Google Drive), you can select "Share with Google Drive", and a standard Google sharing interface will launch. Once you have GDFS installed and some files in place, you can share them directly from the Windows Explorer or Finder interface.
